Secure your Hyonix PC / Farmer
Security Best Practices
Protecting your wallets, Hyonix server, and connected platforms is critical. Whether you're farming with Decoder.
Use the guide below to secure your setup from the most common attack vectors.
1. General Wallet & Farming Security
Always use a brand new wallet when importing into the farmer.
Don’t use a wallet that’s previously been connected to other sites.
Don’t connect this wallet to new websites once it’s being used for farming.
Export the wallet’s keys to both your PC and phone if you plan to manage while on the go.
Never store keys or secret phrases online.
Write them down on physical paper only for extra safety
Do not install Phantom or other browser wallets on your Hyonix server.
Instead, create the wallet on your PC or phone and paste the key over securely.
Use a unique and strong password when creating your Hyonix account.
Do not store this password online.
Enable IP restriction on Hyonix.
This limits access to your server to your own IP address only. NOTE: most of the time you will not have a static (a single) IP address - meaning everyday your IP could change. Only do this if you know you have a static IP address, and make sure you have backed up your Solana wallet onto your regular PC / phone before you do this, in case you can't gain access again
2. Hyonix Server Hardening (Essential Steps)
If you're using Hyonix to run the farmer:
Essential Security Actions:
Change the default RDP port → How-to Guide
Disable or rename the Administrator account → How-to Guide
Use a strong password
Hyonix provides a secure password by default
Minimum requirements:
At least 8 characters
1 uppercase letter
1 number
1 special character
These basic changes prevent over 99% of brute-force attack attempts.
3. Hyonix Server Hardening (Advanced, Optional)
For additional protection, consider the following:
Reinstall your server if you believe it was compromised and no backup is required → Reinstall Guide
Install EZWinBan v3.0.0 — Windows version of Fail2Ban
Use Windows Firewall to whitelist only your IPs
Be cautious — incorrect setup could lock you out
Enable 2FA for RDP login using Duo → Setup Guide
Avoid installing any unverified or suspicious files
Enable Windows Defender (for Windows Server 2016/2019)
Use Malwarebytes for additional protection
4. Summary: Security Checklist
Use new, isolated wallets for farming
Export keys offline and store them on paper
Never install Phantom on your Hyonix server
Enable IP restrictions and 2FA across all accounts
Store most funds in a Ledger or cold wallet
Regularly withdraw profits
